In another shameful act related to PDS in India, around 3000 litres of kerosene being illegally transported was seized by the police at Polasara in Ganjam district of Odisha, the police said today.

The kerosene, meant for the public distribution system (PDS), was allegedly transported in a mini-truck yesterday, they said. "The driver of the truck Sushant Sahu was arrested," Sub-divisional Police Officer (Chhatrapur) Shantanu Padhy said. The kerosene was being transported from Dhunkapada near Polasara.
